On April 20, 2018, presentation of web-sites of the Department of Science and Education and International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS was held.

Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Alguliev, corresponding member of ANAS, Head of Science and Education Department of ANAS Aminagha Sadigov, Head of International Relations Department, PhD in Biology Esmira Alirzayeva and others also participated in the event

Academician Rasim Alguliev noted that both websites prepared by the specialists of the institute were harmonized to the requirements of the "Establishment and Management of Internet Information Resources of the State Authorities" and approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

R. Alguliev said that web sites were created on the basis of modern requirements and expressed confidence that both resources will play an important role in promoting the importance of science and education in ANAS and the development of international cooperation.

Later, the programmer of the Institute of Information Technologiy of ANAS, Sarkhan Yolchuyev presented the website of the Department of Science and Education. He said that the site, which operates in 3 languages ​​(Azerbaijani, English, Russian), will be available in "Home", "Management", "Official Documents", "News", "Announcements", "Contacts" sections. In the "Gallery" section of the site it is planned to place photo and video materials reflecting the important events organized by the Academy. There is also a large search engine and links to social networks.

Corresponding member of ANAS Aminagha Sadigov said that recently major reforms in ANAS  is carried out and the creation of websites of scientific institutions and organizations is a new stage in these reforms.

According to him, the launch of the web-site of the administration will serve as an information support function in the organization.

Presenting the web site of the International Relations Department, S. Yolchuyev noted that this resource will operate in 3 languages ​​(Azerbaijani, English and Russian). He said that the website would have "Home", "Documents", "News and Announcements", "Organizations", "Academic Organizations" and other sections. The site also includes international programs, application forms, Horizon 2020 sections, extensive search engines, and social networks.

Head of the department Esmira Alirzayeva spoke about the advantages of the website. Noting the high level of design, software and information provision, she thanked the staff of the institute.

Later, employee of the Department of Science and Education Turan Isazade and employees of the International Relations Department Malahat Gurbanova and Raifa Ahmedova were awarded the certificates of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS for the successful completion of the training course on the website of the Department of Science and Education and International Relations Department.

At the end of the discussion opinions were exchanged on the exploitation of the web site, and the questions were answered.
