The next seminar of Department No.13 was held at the Institute of Information Technology.

Master student of the Institute, Shalala Mansurova, presented a report on "Cloud Technologies". She pointed out that Cloud technology is a computing system that enables the realization of virtualization of memory and memory resources of a large number of large corporations with the help of communication technologies.

Sh. Mansurova spoke about classification of cloud technology. She said that each organization uses models such as general-purpose, special-purpose, hybrid clouds to distribute apps depending on their destination. The cloud service models are models such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), she noted.

Also, she spoke about the security of cloud technologies. She noted that important aspects of information security are ensured by providing intelligence, confidentiality and integrity. In addition, issues such as reliability, management, integration are also considered.

She pointed out the advantages of cloud technologies. Mansurova said that all users should be able to access resources through any computer on the Internet, and so on. She also noted the reliability, security issues, the connection of the user's computer to the Internet and other shortcomings.

Then, the reporter gave detailed information about Dew computing and presented examples. The counting systems are considered as complementary to cloud technologies and its main goal is to fully realize the potential of cloud technologies, she noted. Dew computing is a computing system that reflects the software paradigm of on-premises computers. She informed about two main features of the calculations and showed examples of them.
