Policemen in the Chinese province of Henan began to apply technology goggles with the function of face recognition. This is reported by TASS with reference to the newspaper Global Times. It is noted that with the help of the novelty it has already been possible to detain several delinquents. "The glasses are fixed by human faces, and then they send the information to a common database for comparison with the list of people on the wanted list," said the representative of the provincial administration Zhang Xiaolai.

The glasses were used for the first time last week during patrolling the entrances of the railway station in Zhengzhou City due to the increase in passenger traffic on the eve of the Chinese New Year. Among the detainees were seven people who were wanted on charges of robbery and flight from the scene of an accident. Also, 26 people were identified who tried to use a fake ID.
