Leading researcher of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, PhD in technical sciences, associate professor Ramiz Shikhaliyev's book "Network technologies" was published. The scientific editor of the book is Yadigar Imamverdiyev, the head of department of the institute, PhD in technical sciences, associate professor.

The book, published by the decision of the Scientific Board of the Institute, provides detailed information on basic concepts of computer networks, mutual communication model of open systems, standard network protocols, access methods to network connection channels, network addressing, network routing. Also, local, global, wireless, SDN (Services Digital Network), multiservice, intellectual, virtual private networks, Internet, multiagent and network security technologies are discussed in the book.
