Scientists in the United States for the first time introduced into the human brain an implant capable of influencing the mood. As Nature writes, the device with the help of impulses can cure depression and post-traumatic disorders even without the participation of doctors.

As noted, the built-in neuroimplants fix a certain brain activity that occurs during mental disorders. When they occur, the devices send electrical impulses to the brain, which return it to its normal state.

Researchers from the University of California and the Massachusetts Hospital are planning to use a new technology to treat military and veterans.
