The equipment consists of several main parts: the Brainbox CPU, the front camera and the user's touch interface, as well as the drives for the steering wheel, the brake pedal and the gas pedal.

LaneCruise uses cameras facing forward and installed under the rear-view mirror to detect objects around the vehicle, naked-science.ru reports. The brain of the system, or Brainbox, is installed under the driver's seat and processes information coming from the cameras. Then Brainbox decides and sends control signals to the steering wheel and pedal drives.
