Head of the Training-Innovation Center of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, Rasmiyya Mahmudova, was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Institute on the occasion of her 50th anniversary. Director of the Institute, academician of ANAS, academician Rasim Aliguliev congratulated R. Mahmudova on behalf of the collective. He said that she was actively involved in the scientific and social life of the institute, she was always in the center of attention with her achievements and high professionalism in every job, and wished her success in her future career.

Rasmiyya Mahmudova graduated from the Applied Mathematics faculty of the Azerbaijan State University in 1990 and since then has been working as an engineer at the Automated Management Systems Department of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. In 1990-2003, she worked as an engineer, programmer engineer, leading programmer and researcher. In those years she was engaged in designing various software. She has closely participated in creation ofwww.science.az portal of ANAS.

She was a member of the "Education E-Learning Resources Assessment Board", established under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

She is currently the Head of the Training Innovation Center of Institute of Information Technology.

In 2015 she was awarded the Honorary Decree of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Technical Sciences of ANAS for her long-term scientific and scientific-organizational activities.
