American payment processor Payscout released an application that allows you to pay for physical goods in virtual reality via Google Cardboard.

Payscout VR Commerce supports integration with Visa Checkout, which allows users to register payment details in an electronic wallet.

Cleveland Brown, CEO of Payscout, called it a turning point in payments and virtual reality: "We saw a lot of prototypes and simulators of payments in virtual reality, but this is the first example of real commerce in VR."

People who attended the presentation of the application on Money20 / 20, received the Google Cardboard headsets, showing an exciting shopping tour of the Californian online store Body Language Sportswear, psm7.com reports.

The Payscout VR Commerce app for Google Cardboard is already available on the Google Play Store, and soon the technology will be adapted for iOS and additional VR platforms.
