Reports of departments for the first half of 2017 have been started at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The head of department, PhD in economics, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev, who presented the report of the Department No8 of the Institute, said that during the reporting period the research was conducted on the scientific and theoretical bases of formation of the information society economy.

A.Aliyev said that the study of the scientific and theoretical bases of formation of the information economy, the study of the dependence of the composite index of the information economy on factors influencing its formation is carried out, the factors influencing the process of development of the information economy on the green technology are investigated.

The rapporteur noted that the conceptual model of operation of technoparks on the theme of creation, organization and management of technoparks, development of mechanisms and algorithms was developed and the composition of the complex modeling system was determined. Also, the initial indicators on econometric modeling of technoparks were analyzed, and a system of composite indicators for their comparative evaluation of their activity was developed.

Speaking about scientific and innovation activities, A.Aliyev noted that this year the department staff took part in the implementation of the relevant paragraphs of state programs related to the institute and implementation of the tasks arising from the formation of information society economy in the Strategic Road Map on Telecommunications and Information Technologies Development.

The head of the department underlined the preliminary preparatory work on holding the Republican scientific-practical conference on "Knowledge Society and ICT: Problems, Tasks and Prospects".

The speaker also spoke about the work done within the framework of scientific and pedagogical activity.

He noted that in the first six months of the current year, the department staff made speeches at 8 republican and international scientific-technical conferences, and 5 articles were published. The speaker also noted that some articles of the department employees in the current year were published in the indexed magazines in authoritative bases.

A.Aliyev also spoke about scientific-organizational activities in the department, promotion of scientific-practical results in mass media, and the work carried out within the framework of international cooperation.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Rasim Alguliev noted that the new era economy was based on science, knowledge, technology and ICT and emphasized the importance of the analysis of the scientific-theories and approaches influencing the formation of this economy.

He pointed out the need to address the key factors influencing the information economy through the dependence of GDP, the impact of environmental factors on economic development, the fields and factors that depend on the release of innovative products in technoparks by econometric models. He recommended further deepening of researches in this area.

The scientist gave relevant instructions on the publication of scientific results, especially in journals indexed on the Web of Science.
