The annual Computex trade fair, held in Taipei, is one of the largest technological events in Asia. And the biggest star of the current fair was a full-sized robot taller than a man who plays chess on a real board.

Of course, robots have long defeated a man in chess, but this was a program, they did not move physical figures, and in the future they limited themselves to manipulators. Also in Taiwan, everywhere are introduced to workplaces of a group of mini robots that carry the strange nickname "Pepper". Last year they appeared in two banks and one insurance company. They can dance to music, play with children in the lobby, and also conduct aerobics lessons for staff.
