The head of the Department No. 17 of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS -Rasim Mahmudov presented department's action plan for 2017. He spoke about the scientific-research activities noted that within a year multidisciplinary scientific problems of the formation of information society, development of effective mechanisms for formation and managing e-government, and the, multidisciplinary problems of the formation of social media, also research on the analysis of information war technologies in the wiki-environment will be carried out.

Rasim Mahmudov gave information about the works to be conducted within the framework of scientific innovation and practical activities. Rasim Mahmudov noted that various conferences, forums, seminars, round tables and exhibitions will be held for the popularization of ICT in the public sector and campaign will be carried out through the media. He said that in the Wiki-based research center training, content provision, monitoring, campaign work will continue this year too.

Later academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute academician Rasim Aliguliyev performed his suggestions and recommendations regarding the action plan of the department.

They exchanged views on the report. It was decided to submit an action plan for the consideration by the Scientific Board of the Institute.
