Action plan of Department No5 for 2017 in Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was discussed. Head of department Sayyar Abdullayev presenting the action plan for current year spoke about the works carried out regarding investigation of terminology problems on information technology. He noted that scientific theoretical problems of e-terminography, modern state and investigations of solutions of problems will be carried out in the department. Development of electronic terminography, choosing, translation, classification, systematization and preparation of glossaries were executed.

Sayyar Abdullayevgave detailed information about scientific and practical activities of department, participation in international and national events, the publication of articles in well-known scientific journals, preparation of various books and pamphlets, promption of scientific and practical results in the media and implementation of advertising-marketing works which will be carried out in the current year.

Then academician-secretar of ANAS, director of Institute of Information Technology of ANA, academician Rasim Aliguliyev making a report said that protection of the purity of the Azerbaijani language, preventing the entry of foreign words to our language are important issues.
