The action plan of No. 1 department of  Institute of Information Technology for the year 2017 were discussed.

The project chief engineer of the institute, PhD, associate professor Makrufa Hajirahimova presented the plan. She informed about work to be done regarding scientific research, scientific innovation activities, scientific seminars and conferences, lectures ,publication of articles in well-known scientific journals and so on.

Research of multidisciplinary problems of Big Data technologies in information security field within the framework of scientific research activity is intended, she noted. Also, researches on detection of anomalies from Big Data collected in information security facilities , development of methods and algorithms based on Big Data analytics for detection of DDoS attacks to the national information infrastructure are planned.

The study of the main indicators of Big Data on research of methodological basis of Big Data’s  measurement and assessment, its map on countries, research of Big Data's existing methodologies will be continue, she said.

Speaking about the work to be carried out within the framework of scientific innovation  activity M. Hajirahimova noted that scientific researches in this direction on project grant Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan will continue.

It was expected to present  project on Big Data issues  to "Horizon 2020"  of European Union, speaker noted.

In the end, the report was discussed, questions were answered.
