On January 13 President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh got acquainted with the process of masters examination on English at ANAS Institute of Information Technology.

The meeting was attended by ANAS Academician-Secretary, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Alguliyev, head of the Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS Administration, Doctor of Engineering sciences, Professor Aminaga Sadigov, Head of Magistracy Department of DNA, PhD in Technology, Associate Professor Huseyn Huseynov, Deputy Director of the Information Technology, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, Deputy Director of the General Affairs Institute Shakir Mehdiyev and head of Training and Innovation Centre Rasmiyya Mahmudova.

First, Academician Rasim Alguliyev informed the guests about the technical -material and innovation conditions created at the institute. Presenting an interactive whiteboard installed in the lobby of the institute he praised the system from the point of view of an important source of information. Noting that, on the board displays information about the main directions of activity of the institute and the ongoing projects, the scientist said that through this system it is possible to introduce a virtual institution.

Also, informed on internal Internet TV "TV Info" R.Alguliyev brought to the attention that, TV broadcasted activities held at the Institute of ICT and world news.

Speaking about projects in the UIC for the integration of science and education, a scientist highlighted the role of Distance Education Center. The center is a bridge between Nakhchivan, Ganja and other regions, as well as leading research institutions around the world, creating ample opportunities for distance education of doctoral students and PhDs, conduct online conferences, seminars, meetings, arriving in Baku guests and prizes winners, strengthening international and domestic relations cooperation. According to the scientist, the virtual bridge will contribute to the formation of a unified scientific and educational environment.

R. Alguliyev stated that, in recent years, comprehensive measures were carried out in master studies of ANAS, the management of ANAS created all conditions for holding researches in priority directions. In accordance with the decree of ANAS President dated September 10, 2015, tuition and organization of exams in English, psychology, philosophy, pedagogy for masters’ degree has been trusted to the organization.

Then, head of TIC R.Mahmudova informed about works done in this direction at the center and brought to mind that, theoretical and practical subjects are taught by professional teachers. She noted that, English lesson for magistrates was developed according to the IELTS program and it leads to masters who want to continue their scientific activity in doctoral studies in the future.

Later on, guests got acquainted with the English exam course, holding with the purpose of testing knowledge skills of magistrates. Exam was attended by 57 magistrates over 18 specialties, studying in 20 institute and organizations of ANAS.

Academician Akif Alizadeh highly appreciated implemented projects, and innovative condition created for magistrates, and challenged him to benefit scientific scope.

Note that, pursuant to the decree of ANAS president Academician Akif Alizadeh dated December 22, 2016, winter exam session is held on December 29, 2016 – February 2, 2017. During, session, master studies of ANAS will hold exams in 197 subjects.
