On 7-10 November 2016, Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Alguliyev participated in several international events in the Netherlands.

As a result of discussions, held at the meetings of the General Assembly of GEANT, was decided on the participation of the Institute in a joint project, coordinated GEANT within the framework of Horizon-2020 program. Also was discussed a plan of action prepared in accordance with the initiative "European cloud of open science".

And at the meetings of the EaPConnect project was discussed the preliminary draft of the report on the results achieved within one year which will be submitted in European Commission. Including planned a number of activities related to the study of the experience of other countries regarding the development of national support networks for science and education.

During the visit, also was meting with representatives of the company "Turnitin" functioning in antiplagiarism systems, the sides discussed prospects of cooperation in science and technology between the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS and the structure.
