On November 23 in the international conference on topic " Current state and development prospects of ICT " launched  at the Azerbaijan Technical University (ATU).

Decrees on the development of ICT were signed,  state programs were adopted by the President Ilham Aliyev, substitute of rector of ATU, PhD,associate professor Khalig Yahudov said.

Playing an important role in the training of professional personnel in ICT,  University set as a priority thestudy of innovative technologies that respond to the new trends in the world .

Then,Deputy Minister of Ministry of Communications of and High Technologies Iltimas Mammadovdelivered a report on subject " development Trends of ICT infrastructure in Azerbaijan".

Head of informatization of education department of the Ministry of Education Samir Mammadov, director of the Institute of Management Systems Institute, academician Telman Aliyev, head of the Council of Ministers Elkhan Bagirzadeh, head of department at the Institute of Information Technology, PhD, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev, head of Multichannel telecommunication systems department the at ATU Mehman Hasanov, a representative MilSOFT company of Turkey Tolqa Chelik and others spoke about the achievements in the field of ICT.

Note that, conference will last till November 6. The purpose of the conference is to discuss scientific achievements of scientists and experts in traditions and perspectives of ICT development.
