Within  the framework of working  program of the II Eastern Partnership Platform of the European Union "Matching and forecasting of the demand and supply for skilled staff  in the labor market - the experience of the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries''project is being implemented in 2014-2017years. Head of department of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, Sc.D., Professor Masuma Mammadova represented the institute in this project.

With the support of the European Commission and the European Training Foundation examples for acquainting with the experience of the European Union countries on  matching  and forecasting of the demand and supply for skilled staff  in the labor market, scientific researches conducted in this sphere,  new institutional mechanisms are presented to representatives of the Eastern Partnership countries. Moreover, thematic workshops are organized for acquainting with models on matching and forecasting of the demand and supply for skilled staff in the labor market.

The 5^th thematic workshop named  “Transition to a market economy and necessity of forecasting of  the demand for qualified personnel . The experience of the Czech Republic ", was held on November 15-17, in 2016. In the last 10-15 years, concrete innovative tools on  mechanisms developed in this area, forecasting of perspective demand for human resources in the labor market methodology,  matching  demand and supply  for staff on different areas and economy have  been introduced.

During the discussions, the Czech experience confirmed that matching  and forecasting of the demand and supply for skilled staff  in the labor market is a quite complex, multicomponent and multi-factor process and the importance of using combination of different approach, methods and models to achieve acceptable results.

In the last two sessions, goals and opportunities of  establishment of information system forming the basis of human resources forecasting, matching of  supply and demand  were discussed by each country's delegation.  A road map was introduced on development of methodology of matching and forecasting of the demand and supply for skilled worker in Azerbaijan was introduced.

Later, meetings were held in National Observatory of employment and training of the Czech Republic, investigation of demand and supply for  qualified personnel in Azerbaijan, as well as, information was provided about scientific researches in the direction of intelligent management of human resources at the Institute of Information Technology and cooperation opportunities were discussed.
