Lectures and workshops to wiki-groups consisted of employees of institutions and organizations of ANAS are held in Wiki center. During the course  necessary knowledge and experience  on deployment of information resources collected in institutes and organizations of ANAS, book and scientific work of scholars in accordance with the requirements and standards of Wikipedia, detection of real and potential threat against Azerbaijan in wiki environment, enrichment of content regarding Azerbaijan and etc. are tanned.

Courses will be held 2 times in a week, during 1-month. Lectures will be conducted by Head of Public Relations Department Rasim Mahmudov, seminars by sector chief Irada Alakbarova and PhD Rena Gasimova. Participants of courses are provided with high-speed internet and modern computers.

After the courses, monitoring of contents included to Wikipedia will be conducted, activities of Wiki groups will be analyzed by the Institute of Information Technology.

On November 10, exams were held to verify the knowledge of the persons participitated in "theoretical and practical bases of Wikipedia Encyclopedia" courses. 58 people were attended to courses from 14 institutes of ANAS, 43 of them successfully completed the exams.

At the end of November, certificates and ''theoretical and practical basis of Wikipedia virtual encyclopedia'' book will be presented to participants who participated in summer and autumn terms  and passed the exam successfully.
