At the Institute of Information Technology a meeting was held with the representative of “Micro Information Handling and Distribution” company-Mehmet Haseki.

At the meeting the head of department of the institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences- Ramiz Aliguliyev, PhDs- Vugar Musayev and Farhad Yusifov, the head of the Electronic Library Center- Madina Saidova and members of the center attended.

Providing information on the activities of the "Micro Information Handling and Distribution" company, M.Haseki reported that company offers Internet library service to the world and provides single entry center to "Open access" journals.

Organizations that contact to company have oppoturnity to benefit from 2 months free of charge within "World eBook Library," and "Global e-Journals Library" database, said M. Haseki.

M.Haseki noted that"World eBook Library" which consist of e-books, academic studies and audio-books is the world's largest archive of e-books and documents. At the library where more than 3 million electronic books and document in 200 languages presented, subscribers will have full access to the entire collection.

He also gave information about the opportunities offered by the "Global e-Journals Library". The electronic library is first database of covering more than 9 million articles have been published for over 125 years in 135 countries around the world, giving "open access" more than 22 000 journal, he said. He said that here journals and articles are not automated, but collected by librarians, produced and have been classified.

Then M.Haseki made a presentation on the rules of use "World e-book Library".

At the end it is pointed to the importance of cooperation with such a prestigious organization.
