The following scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Information Technology. At the seminar, chief of the department, PhD Yadigar Imamverdiyev made a presentation for the organization dedicated to the development of big data strategy

He said that big data technologies present approaches and tools, which are important for the sustainable development of the institutions escalating economic and competitive environment. In addition to large companies, small companies are interested in big data technologies. One of the conditions necessary for effective action in this direction is to develop a strategy on the Big data closely linked with the overall corporate strategy.

Then the reporter also spoke about the problems arising from the use of data in the organization. He noted that the acquisition of data large amounts of money is spent, but their subsequent "fate" is not paid enough attention. At organizations systematic and integrative approach doesnot prevail in using data, but functional approach prevails.

He said that the main directions of Big data strategy is to increase the level of awareness in this field, the organization's readiness evaluation of Big data, big data, creating a favorable business environment, the selection of the pilot project on Big data, big data in the development of human resources and so on. Successful Big data strategy make synergistic effect to the development of the ICT industry in the country, he noted.
