On July 29, Sector heads at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS Rasim Mahmudov, Irada Alakbarova, employee of the Institute of Information Technology Sunbul Zalova,  employee of the Republic Seismological Service Center Leyla Ashurova, and employee of the Institute of Dendrology of ANAS Mursal Mammadov were the guests of the Morning program of Azerbaijan State Television.

The program discussed the activities of Wiki-center operating at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, including training courses focused on “Theoretical and practical basis of the Wikipedia encyclopedia” held in June-July 2016 for the Wiki-groups members operating at various research institutions and organizations of ANAS.

R.Mahmudov spoke about the tasks of Wiki Centre and Wiki groups defined by the Presidium of ANAS, as well as about the work done here. He noted that the center aims at ensuring an active participation of the scientists and experts providing the necessary content for the development of Azerbaijani Wikipedia Encyclopedia.

Afterward, M.Mammadov, S.Zalova, and L.Ashurova, who took the Wikipedia courses, informed about their activities and the knowledge they acquired.
