The Institute of Information Technology of ANAS held the meeting of the Dissertation Council. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Masuma Mammadova opened the event and informed about the agenda. The meeting was devoted to the discussion of the dissertation work to get scientific degree of PhD.

Afterwards, the plaintiff Mohubbat Ahmadov brought to the attention the relevance and purpose of the dissertation on the "Forecasting based on fuzzy time series" in the specialty 3338.01 - "System analysis, control and information processing", and the specified issues to reach.

The dissertation work aims at finding the optimum implication for the effective selection of knowledge base and logic mechanism to improve the accuracy of forecast for fuzzy time series, Mr. Ahmadov noted.

In the thesis, in terms of the consideration of human knowledge and experience and improvement of computing efficiency, fuzzy time series were found to be more efficient that the classic time series based on the linguistic variables.

Then the experts exchanged views on the subject. The applicant answered numerous questions.

The reviewers of the dissertation - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ismayil Ismayilov and PhD Makrufa Hajirahimova made remarks and proposals.

At the end of the dissertation was recommended to be submitted for the next stage.
