Decision of the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences on the establishment of the Presidential Youth Award was adopted at the meeting held on March 2, 2016.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, acad. Rasim Alguliyev spoke about the recent implementations towards the realization of the youth policy at the academy.

Note that, the prize will be awarded to the researchers under 35 with special achievements in social and humanitarian sciences according to the competition. The documents about the candidates will be submitted to the Commission of Experts established by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, and then nominated for the award by the Commission to be presented to the Presidium of ANAS. Finally, the final decision on the candidate's award will be accepted by the Presidium. The winners will be awarded a diploma and a cash prize of 2 000 manats.
