Express-information titled “Modern terms in information technology” has been published by the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The authors of the new edition are the head of department Sayyar Abdullayev and senior research fellow Sudaba Abasova. And the scientific editor of the book is the head of the department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor Masuma Mammadova.

Modern terms used in information technology have been collected in the dictionary published by the “Information Technology” Publishing House. The terms are used in different directions of information technologies, such as algorithmization, software engineering, information security, information systems, GPS and 3D technologies, Wikipedia, the Internet, social networks, cloud technologies and others. Explanations of the terms are given in three languages – Azerbaijani, English and Russian.

Professionals, educators and others who work in the field of information technology may benefit from the terminological dictionary.
