The book "Genetic Algorithms" was published. The authors of the book are Ph.D. in physics and mathematics Tofig Kazimov, the senior scientific worker of the Institute Tamilla Bayramova, and scientific editor is doctor of technical sciences, Ramiz Aliguliyev.

The book published by the decision of Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS highlights the basic strategies and principles of genetic algorithms (GA), several models of GA operators, and provides a few examples of GA application. The book informs about the advantages and disadvantages of GA in various optimization issues.

The book is intended for specialist, post-graduates and students engaged in optimization issues in the field of information technology, development of intelligent systems, the application of new information technologies in science, engineering, education, business and economy.
