Institute of Information Technology employee participated in the Scientometrics Certification Program

Narmin Adigozalova, the Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, participated in the Scientometrics Certification Program held in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia. 

The program was jointly organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education and Clarivate and took place from 20 to 24 July 2026. The primary objective of the program was to develop participants' professional skills in modern evaluation mechanisms for scientific activities, international scientific databases, and the efficient use of analytical tools.

Within the framework of the five-day program, participants were provided with theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of international scientific communication, scientometric analysis, monitoring of scientific activity, and evaluation of academic indicators of institutions.

During the training, the application of the platforms and tools Web of Science, InCites, Journal Citation Reports, EndNote, ProQuest Central, Research Horizon Navigator, and Research Assistant in the process of evaluating scientific activity and conducting scientometric analyses was explained. Participants had the opportunity to complete practical tasks on each topic.

At the end of the program, participants were awarded international certificates by Clarivate.
