Academician Rasim Alguliyev was a guest on Baku TV – VIDEO

Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Director General of the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, was a guest on Baku TV's “Current Agenda” program. During his appearance, the scientist discussed the essence of digital sovereignty, which is one of the key challenges of the modern era, and outlined the necessary mechanisms to ensure it, as well as the strategic tasks set by the Head of State in this direction. He noted that consistent efforts are being made in Azerbaijan to shape the digital architecture, improve the digital government model, and build a national data ecosystem.

Academician Aliguliyev further emphasized that the legal regulation of processes within the internet environment, the improvement of the legislative framework, ensuring national cybersecurity, and protecting national interests in virtual space are among the fundamental requirements of digital sovereignty worldwide.
