An action plan of the Department No. 12 of the Institute for 2015 was discussed

An action plan of the Department No. 12 of the Institute of Information Technology for 2015 was discussed. Providing information about the upcoming work the head of the department Madina Saidova mentioned that the application opportunities of bibliometric methods in e-libraries were intended to be promoted and scientific activity to be evaluated.

During the discussions, the methods and conceptual models were recommended to be developed for the formation of e-government to improve the efficiency of intelligent management of e-libraries.

During the reported year, state of the art, problems and prospects of bibliometry, classification issues of bibliometric documents with the application of neuro-fuzzy networks, and bibliometric mapping with the application of intelligent data mining technologies would be investigated, Chief Sector, PhD Nigar Ismayılova noted.

As the digital libraries such as, ACM, IEEE, EBSCO, eIFL, and so on were available for the employees of the institute, the opportunities for international cooperation would be developed more, Mrs.Saidova stressed.

In conclusion, suggestions and recommendations were expressed in regard to the action plan of the department. Action plan was decided to be submitted to the assembly of the Scientific Board.
