The Institute of Information Technology participated in the exhibition of scientific achievements

On February 25, the General Assembly of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) was held at the Main Building of ANAS.

The event commenced with a tour of the exhibition featuring scientific achievements dedicated to the outcomes of 2025.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a stand presenting the main areas of activity and scientific achievements of the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was displayed. Several government officials and high-ranking dignitaries visited the institute’s stand.

The stand highlighted the institute’s research and major scientific achievements in implementing the strategic objectives set by President Ilham Aliyev. These included the 2023–2027 Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Information Security and Cybersecurity, the Digital Development Concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the 2025–2028 Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as ongoing efforts to develop the country’s new digital architecture.

During the tour of the stand, visitors expressed great interest in the institute’s research outcomes across various fields, including artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, natural language processing, cyber-physical systems, digital government, digital healthcare, cybersecurity, deep learning, and big data analytics.

At the exhibition, participants showed particular interest in research findings on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), scientific articles published in prestigious, high-impact international journals, high-capacity intelligent software products, and the algorithms and models developed to ensure the cybersecurity of national drones.
