Mitsubishi Electric introduced ceiling lights that look like windows. According to the portal Sora News, artificial windows create the illusion of a blue sky, which should reduce the risk of depressive disorders in office workers. Watch the video below.
According to planet-today.ru, the new lamps are called Misola and when turned on, they resemble windows with a blue sky. The hue, by the way, varies depending on the time of day (or depending on the settings), so the illusion created by the new Mitsubishi development looks very reliable. It is assumed that Misola luminaires can be both the main source of light in the office and perform the functions of additional illumination.
The development focuses on the corporate sector, as well as nursing homes and medical facilities. The fact that Misola fixtures are not intended for home use is hinted at their rather high cost - one artificial window will cost more than six and a half thousand dollars.
Artificial sky in the ceiling lamp should help the Japanese, who spend most of the day in the office and are deprived of the joy of contemplating the real sky. Studies show that lack of communication with nature is one of the most significant factors in the development of depressive and other mental disorders.
