At CES 2020, BMW introduced the BMW i Interaction Ease smart cab. It is designed for drones and equipped with technologies that allow you to recognize the eyes of the owner.
The cabin will have a built-in artificial intelligence system. The technology is able to detect when a passenger stares intently at an object outside the car, such as a store or cafe. Having fixed this, the program will offer the user the desired information about the object: information about prices, discounts, menus, etc.
According to ferra.ru, the cab interface will be able to perceive voice commands, gestures and touches. The windshield is proposed to be used as a screen with augmented reality.
In addition, the system will be able to turn the cabin into a relaxation area, including music or movies on the screen, as well as changing lighting.
It is reported that the first car to use the BMW i Interaction Ease features will be iNext in 2021.
