The CoBrain-Analytics project announced the upcoming launch of a special program in Russia, within the framework of which artificial intelligence will diagnose patients' diseases based on medical tests. A neural network can not only make a diagnosis, but also offer a personalized treatment option.
Artificial intelligence will be able to study blood, urine and tissue samples. It is expected that he will be able to diagnose hereditary cancer syndromes and severe neurodegenerative diseases. Data will be compared with clinical data from various medical institutions and biobanks of the Russian Federation. After the end of the study, the patient will receive a personalized treatment option.
The start of the project is scheduled for 2021. To launch such a neural network-based diagnostic system, CoBrain-Analytics entered into a partnership agreement with National BioService. The project is included in the “road map” of the HelthNet and NeuroNet programs proposed as part of the National Technology Initiative. It is planned to use artificial intelligence as a tool for the development of new drugs.
