Flying into space is not always associated with routine work and scientific research - at least for Italian astronauts. One of them, while visiting the International Space Station, found an original way to brighten up orbital everyday life with the help of a DJ console.
The Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano played his set while on the ISS - the online broadcast of the performance was broadcast to Earth, and the passengers of the cruise ship in Ibiza, where the BigCityBeats World Club Dome Cruise Edition electronic music festival was held, were the first to rate it.
The astronaut, who visits the space station for the second time, took full advantage of the conditions of weightlessness during an impromptu concert - he soared sideways and upside down, using the tablet as a DJ console. Although this is not his main profession, Parmitano became the first "space DJ" in history.
