The First Caspian Economic Forum is taking place in the national tourist zone Avaza in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.
An international conference, “Caspian Innovative Technologies Exhibition” was organized as part of the event, a meeting of the ministers of transport of the littoral Caspian states is also planned.
The forum plays an important role as a platform for establishing business relationships and getting acquainted with new technologies, services and solutions in various areas of economy, including in the fields of transport, logistics, industry, tourism, energy and trade.
In addition to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iran and Russia, Azerbaijan is also represented at the exhibition by a national pavilion.
A delegation of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies is taking part in these events. Our national pavilion presents the latest innovative products, services and solutions of the Innovation Agency, Data Processing Center, Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
The startup Virtual Surgery, a resident of the Innovation Agency’s Business Incubation and Acceleration Center, is also presented at the exhibition. The project Virtual Surgery serves to develop a more accurate and efficient surgical model using modern technologies. Thus, 3D scanning of CT (computer tomography) or MRT (magnetic resonance tomography) examinations and virtual planning scheme of surgical operations are transferred to a special holographic device. Then, the surgeon puts on augmented reality glasses, places the information from the computer into the operating area using special software. Thus, along with real images of the surgical field, the surgeon also receives a 3D radiological image of invisible anatomical structures.
The Mobile Devices Registration System is demonstrated at the stand of the Data Processing Center. This is an information system designed to enter the data on technical identification parameters of mobile devices used in the telecommunications network into single database, store and process it. The system has advantages such as preventing imports into the country mobile devices that do not meet technical standards, suspending the use of lost or stolen mobile devices, receiving conformity certificates for mobile devices imported into the country according to the rules in force.
