Baku hosting IT Conference and Exhibition of World Customs Organization

The IT Conference and Exhibition of World Customs Organization has today kicked off in Baku.

Report informs that the event themed 'New technologies for SMART borders’ was announced open with the congratulation letter of the President Ilham Aliyev to the participants.

The letter was read out by Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov.  The head of state said in his letter that a lot of works were done to ensure transparency in the customs system of Azerbaijan, apply the information and communication technologies. He welcomes such conferences and exhibitions and is sure that they will make contribution to cooperation.
