Express information "Scientific and theoretical foundations of programming", authored by the chief engineer of the Department №9 of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, Ph.D. in engineering, associate professor Shafagat Makhmudova. The scientific editor of the book is Bakhtiyar Sirajov, Head of the Software Development Department of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Vienna), Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics.

The book provides information about the scientific and theoretical foundations of programming and programming languages. An algorithm is developed on the basis of certain criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of programming languages, and also, analyzing the performance of software, their problems are researched. Mathematical and engineering approaches and models are analyzed to improve software performance and solve various problems. The issue of software optimization is addressed in the course of analyzing the best performance enhancing the software. A conceptual model for improving software performance is developed.
