BYD automaker introduced the K12A, the electric bus that has become the longest in the world.
The length of the electric bus is 27 m. The K12A can hold 250 passengers and has a maximum speed of 70 km / h. On one charge, the electric bus is able to cover about 300 km.
According to BYD, K12A is the world's first electric bus with 4WD system, which can smoothly switch between 2WD and 4WD modes. This allows the bus to move through different areas and reduce overall energy consumption.
An electric bus was introduced in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. The developers shared that the vehicle was designed specifically for the TransMilenio high-speed bus system in Colombia.
