A computer virus that steals passwords from cryptocurrency wallets has been detected by Doctor Web. This is stated in a message published on January 22.
Hacker program developers offer mining sites to download a virus disguised as an application that allows miners to track changes in the rate of digital currencies.
The virus “downloads, compiles and executes the source code downloaded from a personal developer account on Github”, and then uses a Trojan program to steal personal data and send them to attackers.
On January 17, cyber security experts discovered a Djvu encryption virus that cannot be removed. It is actively distributed on the Web, completely subjugating the devices attacked by it.
