In the advertising video, the Chinese company Elephone claims to have created the world's first smartphone, designed to work in harsh conditions and at the same time equipped with a display with a resolution of Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels). The model is called Elephone Soldier and is offered at a price of $ 190.

The diagonal of the Elephone Soldier screen is 5.5 inches, and the hardware platform is the one-chip MediaTek Helio X25 system. The capacity of the built-in flash drive varies from 64 to 128 GB, depending on the modification and cost, and the amount of RAM is always 4 GB.

The rear camera Elephone Soldier is built on the basis of a 21-megapixel sensor, the front of the photomodule is based on a 16-megapixel sensor. The power source of the device is a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, the charge of which is claimed to be enough for two days of work without recharging.

The smartphone is made in a shockproof case, which also has protection against water and dust according to the IP68 standard. This means that it can withstand immersion in the water to a depth of up to two meters lasting up to 30 minutes. From the unusual for conventional phones, we note the presence of a physical compass and a SOS button.
