In Israel, demonstrated a robotic kamikaze

Israeli company Israel Aerospace Industries conducted demonstration tests of a multi-copter, which can be used for both detection and target destruction. The new device was named Rotem. Drone Rotem can be carried in a backpack.

Folded, its dimensions are 97 cm in length, 18 cm in width and 13 cm in height. Details on the combat unit of the vehicle are not disclosed.

Several functions are built into the UAV software, including an emergency return to the operator, flying on the given coordinates and along a given route, automatic take-off and landing, automatic detonation at the target.
