December 6 is a professional holiday of communication and IT workers

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 2, 2006, every year on this date is celebrated on the professional holiday of employees of communication and IT.

Since the 6th of December was the date of the first telephone line in Azerbaijan, this calendar has also become the calendar of the communication. Thus, Azerbaijani communication has a 136-year history of development.

The collective of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS congratulates all employees working in the field of communication and information technologies on their professional holiday and wishes them success in their work.
