30 November -International Computer Security Day

International Computer Security Day comes on November 30 for every year. It has already been celebrated 26 years all over the world. The first Computer Security Day was in 1988 started by the Association for Computer Security to raise awareness concerning computer security issues.

This day is celebrated to create awareness on computer security issues and uplift people to secure the personal information stored on their computer. It is an unofficial holiday to check the basic security of your personal computer and protect all your data’s from ransomware virus, identity theft etc.,’It was the time when computers became common all around the world especially there was a huge increase in the field of Business and even the Government. At that point, the internet was in its earlier stage. During the early days of modern computers, virus, and hacking have been spread moderately around. There was a development in technologies which leads to increase in the number of applications. Therefore, the Security risks began due to the usage of computers in banks, government offices, etc., Since the data stored on computers and servers are more important and valuable for the hackers to misuse or leak it. To increase the security of computers and prevent security risks, International Computer Security Day was established.
