Chinese IT companies continue to grow and grow, and their number is steadily increasing every day. In the Middle Kingdom there are already hundreds of developers of artificial intelligence, many developers are working on the creation of innovative devices and are constantly creating new software and hardware products. The growth of biotech companies, startups engaged in renewable and clean energy is also growing ... All of them need to be somewhere to be accommodated, creating for them a comfortable and modern environment in which they could develop, interact and work fruitfully. To this end, in April 2017, south of Beijing, it was decided to build the city of Xionguan, a Chinese counterpart of the Silicon Valley.
The goal of the officials is to attract modern IT companies to the project and provide them with a "local" residence permit. According to the local head of the Communist Party, they are not going to be attracted to anyone, so they will carefully approach the issues related to approving the transfer of a company to Xionguan.
One of the first resident companies to start packing was the Kuang-Chi Group, engaged in aerospace development and digital healthcare projects. Its branch in Xiongang will develop and search for new materials.
Many other major companies of the country voiced their desire to move. Among them are China Mobile, Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba and many others.
Some people will not have to move anywhere, and the local population is about one and a half million people, and among them there are also a lot of people engaged in the IT sphere.
