This Smart Ring Basically Turns Your Finger into a Mobile Phone

Kickstarter launches campaign on "smart" rings, which has the ability to turn the owner's finger into a cash register.

The device, called Orii, is a rather massive ring that is put on the index finger and synchronized with the smartphone via Bluetooth. The work of the ring is based on the so-called bone conduction - when an incoming call to the owner of Orii it is enough to put a finger to his ear and he will hear the interlocutor. This ensures good audibility even with strong external noise.

In addition, the ring also allows you to use the voice assistants Siri and Google Now, without getting the smartphone out of your pocket, and using the proprietary Orii application for iOS and Android, you can configure the sending of notifications to the ring (signaled by a built-in LED indicator), hitech.newsru.com  reports. The battery life of Orii is 45 hours in standby mode and about one and a half hours in talk mode. To get a better idea of the appearance and possibilities of Orii, you can thanks to the video, shot by the developers for kraudfandingovoy campaign.

Note that Orii is not the first device of its kind. Last autumn, at Kickstarter successfully raised funds for the production of the Sgnl bracelet, which has similar functionality.
