Problems of e- education environment management are being investigated

The semiannual report of Department No. 10 was discussed at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The head of the department, PhD, associate professor Firudin Agayev delivered the report.  First of all, the reporter spoke about scientific research activity. He noted that the application of e-learning technologies in the leading universities of foreign countries in the direction of e-learning environment and the development of its methodological foundations was studied. He also noted that research on the development of ICT standards in accordance with international standards was carried out in the education system. He gave information about the application of data mining methods in the optimal selection of curriculum in ICT specialities.

Speaking about the scientific-innovative and practical activities of the department, F.Agayev said that the department staff participated in the preparation of lectures on "Informatics" for PhD students. The bibliography of the scientific articles of the department staff is included in the Azerbaijani section of the Wikipedia Encyclopedia.

The speaker noted that a number of articles of the department staff were published in well-known scientific journals and lectures at different levels of scientific and technical conferences and symposiums.

He also provided information about scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities, international scientific cooperation and work on preparation of various publications.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
