Methods supporting decision-making in electronic medicine environment are being developed

Report of the Department No 15 for the first half of 2017 was discussed at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.  The corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Masuma Mammadova delivered the report of the Department headed by her.  Researchers on analyzing the models and methods supporting the decision-making in electronic medicine were conducted, existing approaches in this field, methods supporting decision-making on an adaptation of demand and supply to medical professionals were developed, she said. She noted that relevant factors were identified for the assessment of factors affecting the health of the population, their systematic hierarchical structure was determined, and the s impact of social media, risk factors and decision-making processes in the e-health environment were analyzed.

The scientist also spoke about research on the development of the scientific and methodological basis for intellectual support for decision-making in human resources management, pointed out that human resource management issues in virtual organizations were investigated and methods were developed to support decision-making.

M.Mammadova said that the conceptual, technological and architectural approaches in the formation of electronic universities were analyzed, an electronic university model of the Azerbaijani education environment was proposed, and an anthology of online learning and methodological complexes for the electronic university was developed. The professor provided detailed information on the ongoing researches in the field of methodology and algorithms for the formation and intellectual analysis of the individual medical information infrastructure at the country and highlighted the innovations.

She also informed about scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities of the department staff, the publication of scientific articles in the international and Republican conferences,  journals recommended by the AR Supreme Attestation Commission and promotion of scientific and practical results in mass media.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
