05 Jule 2017 - 11:00 | Conferences, assemblies

At the next meeting of the scientific seminar of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS the report on modern ICT innovations was heard. Providing information about new technological products, AzScienceNet Network Data Center's manager Tural Mustafayev spoke about the robots given to the Japanese national volleyball team to strengthen their attack position. He said that the robots performing the defense-block function react 3.7 meters per second. These devices, which are quicker than human, cause the volleyball players to increase their accuracy. The reporter, who said that these robots were still used only on the basis of 10-15 predefined layouts, said that they were planning to be improved with their action detectors in the future.

Speaking about aeromobil as well as the ability to fly both on the ground, the reporter said that the aeromoobil with a speed of 160 km / h would be launched in 2020 and the selling price would be $ 1.2-1.6 million.

T.Mustafayev presented the "SGNL Smart Strap", which was introduced on the Kickstarter platform, incorporating the features of the "smart" watch. According to him, through this device, which allows the phone to communicate without the headphones, the sound signals are transmitted to the fingers and to the ear from vibrating to the human arm. The device connects to the phone via bluetooth. Pre-order on the site of "Indiegogo", the sales price is $ 149. He also pointed out that although this project was targeted at $ 50,000, he has already collected $ 1.4 million.

T.Mustafayev, who provided information about the virtual reality racing device developed by the user of Youtube, pointed out that this device is intended to be modernized as a real learning simulator in the future, though it is prepared to play computer games. It is assumed that the installation of $ 25,000 will soon be used in the game halls.

He also gave detailed information about wheelchairs designed by pupils of a technical school in Switzerland, wheelchairs for easy access to the stairs, a Jetpack flying in the air for 10 minutes, a portable Amazon Mobile datacenter, a C Learn software platform developed by experts from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology P. and other ICT innovations.

The lecture caused great interest of the event participants.
