The report on "Big data visualization problems" was delivered at the next scientific seminar of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The senior researcher of the Institute, Marziye Ismayilova presented the report. She gave detailed information about classification of visualization methods visualization of big data and visualization tools, programming languages, and so on. She said that visualization of data studies the principles and methods of data collection visualization. Depending on the application area, visualization of data, is grouped into scientific, information and software visualization.
Drawing attention to the issues of visualization of Big data, M.Ismayilova gave information about visualization of the data stream, visual intellectual analysis and search, description of the course of events based on Big Data using visualization and so on.
She also talked about the most commonly used methods in Big data visualization. She noted that, depending on the frequency of use of these methods include cloud tag used to analyze text with a specific word or phrase weight, a cluster program that uses cluster analysis to provide a link between the individual elements of the data, as well as, big and multidimensional data, and dynamic diagrams that allow dynamic 2D spherical diagrams to interact with their use.
M.Ismayilova spoke about the problem of visualization of big data and emphasized that there are problems such as visual noise, perception of the big image, loss of information, high productivity requirements, and high speed images.
The reporter also informed about companies "Citrix", "Vmware", "Zoomdata", "Datawatch", "Data hero" and others that have great authority in this field.
M.Ismayilova also gave detailed information about conferences on big data visualization, high schools and scholars dealing with problems in this field, published books and magazines.
In the end, the reporter noted that the problem of visualization, which is considered to be one of the perspective directions of data analysis in modern times, is connected with the existing technologies, as well as human problems. Saying that the selection of compliance between a large number of visualization methods and tools is one of the important issues, M.Ismayilova emphasized the necessity of developing a new method, model and more effective algorithms to solve these problems.
