Development models of techno parks were discussed

The next seminar of the department No. 8 was held at the  Institute of Information Technology.

Head of the department, PhD, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev said that economic and mathematical models and methods are applied in the  improvement of the efficiency  of research  technoparks activities,  modern innovative structures.  He informed about  National Strategies, Concepts and State Programs.  Here includes "Azerbaijan 2020: Vision", National Strategy on Development of Information Society(2014-2020), "Strategic Road Map  on the development of telecommunications and information technologies " and so on. 

Speaking about ways to improve the efficiency of innovative technology parks , A. Aliyev  noted that tax, customs, finance and insurance incentives, venture capital, innovation and other development funds, state aid, subsidies and so on.  are included  to stimulating mechanism of the techno parks. 

Then, senior research fellow of the department Roza Shakhverdiyeva  made a report on   " application  of  economic and mathematical models and methods in the  improvement  of efficiency of Innovative technology parks” . Informing about the model and modeling tools, she said that model replaces the original object in  research process, leads to obtain new information about object.

"Economic modeling is a key part of economic theory"– she highlighted. R. Shakverdiyeva informed about  the requirements for the establishment of economic and mathematical models.  

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
