Methods for detection of cyber attacks are studied

A joint seminar of Departments No.1, 2 and 13 of Institute of Information Technology was held. The event was dedicated to detection of Distributed Denial of Service ( DDoS) at an early  stage, doctor of technical sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev said.

Then, sector chief of  No. 2 department  Babak Nabiyev  made a report on subject " Development clustering method for the detection of DDoS attacks".  Attacks of this type have been widely used to violate  the work of e-services, he noted.  He informed about types of DDoS attacks, implementation tools and prevention methods.

In order to apply new method for testing methods of DDoS attacks detection, it has been tested in KDD, DARPA data base, he noted. He said that positive results have been achieved as a result of the trial.
